I brought along three cameras to shoot the Independence Day celebration at Kawit, Cavite’s Aguinaldo Shrine. A Canon Powershot S3is for my telephoto needs, a Nikon D80 for my ultra wide shots and the Sony NEX5n for midrange photos.

But the best image I got from the shoot didn’t come from any of these.

It came from my Samsung Galaxy SII phone of all things. If the focal range of this camera phone was wider and it can be optically zoomed, I’d probably leave all those heavy and clunky cameras behind and simply use a phone for my photographs.

Now that’s real independence--from backaches after every photo safari at least--harhar.

    Wow! really, i think the curves made it better. I didn't like SIII, I'm up for HTC One :D
