I often hear one of my photographer friend who’s into portraiture that the best light to use when shooting portraits is window light.

Now I know zilch about portraiture and I often avoid shooting models like the plague. But when I was shooting the churches of Iloilo earlier, I found that I totally agree with him. Window light is indeed the best kind of light.
