Most hardcore landscape photographers I know wouldn’t be caught dead shooting during the hot midday hours. They say that the light is too strong and the shadows too harsh. What you’d see them do, besides take a siesta, is screw on their infrared filters and shoot IR photographs.
The best time to shoot these kinds of images is during the time when they say it’s not advisable to take a photograph.

ReplyDeleteI have a question, have you ever experienced that hotspot on infrared on an 11-16 before? This what keeps me from going infrared because of that hotspot in my lens. and if you did, what did you do to correct it?
