Our outrigger boat stopped some meters from the white sand shore of Shimizu Beach in El Nido. Our boatman threw flakes of bread over the water and it suddenly transformed from deep green to a swirling mass of blacks, silvers and yellows.
With an underwater camera in hand, I jumped in among the school of Sergeant Major fishes. I pressed the shutter til my battery almost drained, I’m just glad them fishes didn’t seem to mind my company.
