It was overcast the first time I visited Cagsawa Ruins in Albay. The cloud-cover was so thick; the cone-shaped Mayon was nowhere to be seen. Another chance presented itself to revisit the famed sunken church earlier today. Again, the weather was not cooperating with us; it was drizzling as we alighted from the tricycle and entered the park’s gate.
We waited it out and fortunately, our patience paid off. The sun shone so fiercely overhead I was even able to capture a few infrared photographs.
