I went to Europe the first time I went out of the country.

It was an assignment I won from the Digital Photographer Philippines - KLM Airlines - Lonely Planet On Assignment contest held a year ago. We spent seven days roaming around Holland, photographing its exquisite cities, majestic windmills, sumptuous dishes and beautiful people.

The shoot was non-stop. We’d wake up before the sun rises and go home far off into the freezing night. We didn’t bed down ‘til we processed a few photos and write some articles to go along with it for the KLM Facebook fansite and Digital Photographer Philippines daily updates. It was totally tiring but I enjoyed every seconds of it.

This year, the same guys that brought On Assignment: Europe to life is again calling photographers and writers for another great assignment, to photograph and write about the pink city of Toulouse, France for the Lonely Planet.

They’re gonna pick two photographers and a writer to bring to Europe this time. Do you think you have what it takes? You still have a few days left to send in your pitch at the On Assignment website.
