It has been raining for over a week now over the whole Metro Manila and last night the heavens decided to drown the city without mercy. I woke to find our ground floor flooded, something that hasn’t happened in years considering we live in the flood capital of the Metro.

The rains reminded me of a huge shelf cloud I witnessed years ago at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ breakwater. The cloud was really threatening. But unlike the past few days of downpour, it stayed as it was, remaining only as a threat.
