In case you’re wondering where the Lourdes Grotto is, it’s actually where I was standing to take the shot. The two hundred plus steps to the top was worth it just for this view alone. Those are houses on hills at the bottom, the towering pines of Baguio City in the middle and the controversial SM mall at the top.
I like how it looks like a sepia image when it is in fact a full color photograph.
This was supposed to be included on my Lourdes Grotto article in Lakad Pilipinas but I ran out of space. I thought it’s a pretty good picture and it would be a waste to just let it languish for years on my hard drive. So I’m posting it here instead, a beautiful leftover.
it looks artistic and cool. something about it reminds me of China and that long bridge there.
