I left Manila last Friday an hour after midnight with photographers from PiPho.org. The target, sunrise at the town of Real in the province of Quezon. The previous days had been nothing but gray skies and wet pavements. And a few hours before the trip, the sky had been blazing with lightnings; I was having second thoughts in joining the photo safari.

But once in a while, I guess it pays to take chances. The image above says I’m glad you joined us in Quezon.
