Last 9th of July, at exactly 11:02 in the morning on a rice terraces viewpoint in Banaue, Ifugao, my Canon Powershot S3is took its last photograph and died.
My very first camera, I bought it one rainy September morning almost five years ago at Mang Ramon’s cramped camera store in Hidalgo. I was choosing between a smaller point and shoot camera which was cheaper than the S3is but a photographer buying at the store convinced me to get the much more expensive Canon instead.
I am not exaggerating when I say that my life has never been the same after the purchase of this camera.
