A school kid walks toward his mountainside classroom in Barangay Batad in Banaue. PHILTOA together with SM Cares and various media outfits climbed the muddy trails of Batad to help restore the damaged walls of the UNESCO World Heritage Batad Rice Terraces and distribute supplies to its local school. The climb was no walk in the park and the weather was quite uncooperative but everything was well worth it.
